Redecorate The Fireplace With Decorative Mirrors
Most people ignore the fireplace when decorating their home interior. They think that since the fireplace is just used for heating the household in a cold weather, it doesn’t require much attention. The truth is that the fireplace should be decorated as much as you decorate the other areas of your house. With nothing but a picture frame hanging on the wall above it, it probably looks dull and boring. Using mirrors to decorate the fireplace is a perfect way to give it a facelift.
To help make the fireplace an attractive spot, hang a large mirror with a decorative frame above it. Look for one with bold frames or frames which materials match those of the fireplace’s. Some fireplaces have an outside frame made of wood. Pick a mirror with a wooden frame that will blend with it.
Try a more theatrical approach by hanging two large mirrors with similar sizes. The reason why you need large mirrors is for the entire space from the fireplace up to the ceiling is completely covered. For a more fabulous effect, try layering two mirrors. After setting up first a large mirror, take a smaller mirror having a one of a kind frame style and float it on top of the larger one. This is kind of tricky but the result is worth the effort.

Safe And Easy Ways In Cleaning Your Cultured Marble Lavatory
Marble dust and strong polyester resin are the main materials in creating cultured marble, which is stronger than ordinary marble and is usually used in the bathroom surfaces. They are also used in bathroom products like bathtubs, shower pans, vanity tops and shower surrounds. Although it is hard and strong, these marbles still require proper maintenance to last for many years. They are not hard to clean; however, there are some do’s and don’ts in cleaning them. Improper cleaning of cultured marble may damage it especially its gel coats that give these products their shiny surface.
For your them to always stay clean and stain free, regular cleaning is a must. Prevent formation of the water stains by squeezing the water from the base of the shower and the surrounding areas. For hard to remove water stains, spray vinegar on its surface and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash the surface with water and wipe it dry using soft cloth. Avoid using warm water on them.
Never use rough cleaners like steel wool, scrubbing sponges and scouring powder in cleaning cultured marble for they can scratch its surface. Apart from scratching the marble’s surface, it may damage the seal on the surface. Instead, use mild soap or all-purpose cleaner daily. Avoid using cleaners with harsh chemicals and never clean the marble without wetting it first. Preferably, you should use a sprayer to apply the cleaner on the marble and wipe it with soft cloth.
